The Telegraph UK recently detailed the launch of a new “Tick Alert” app in France aiming to “map the explosion” of Lyme disease as it moves North.

The smartphone app was created by the French Institute for Agricultural Research, allowing users to focus in on exactly where they have been bitten by a tick.
