Vets are concerned after noticing a spike in paralysis tick poisoning in the past few months. The disease — if left unnoticed — can be life-threatening, and treatment is very costly. Symptoms of paralysis tick poisoning include: gagging and change in the dog’s bark; and weakened hind legs that slowly progress to full paralysis.
